The article examines the main problems of the pension system in terms of ensuring economic security. The relevance of the topic is due to the lack of research on this topic from the side of ensuring the vital economic interests of the individual, the business entity and the state. In modern conditions of economic uncertainty and global challenges, ensuring economic security is becoming a priority for every country, including the Russian Federation. The study will analyze the existing pension system in Russia, assess its effectiveness and compliance with modern requirements. Further work will analyze the economic security of Russia, as well as develop the concept of the pension system through economic and mathematical modeling in order to balance the interests of all economic entities.
