The article summarizes and analyzes the first information about losses for the organization of the educational process of physical education of students and sports activities of young athletes. It has been revealed what the conditions for the development of physical culture and sports are. The damage from the loss of teachers and trainers, damage from the destruction of the material base and, as a result, for the participation of students in "Physical Culture" classes and sports are shown. Examples of successful activities of the Youth Sports Academy in various regions of Ukraine, competitions of young athletes in various types of sports, as well as their success in Ukrainian and international competitions are presented. Plans for the post-war restoration of the material base and sports organizations have been revealed.
