Abstract

Accurate preoperative evaluation of renal function in living kidney donor candidates (LKDCs) is crucial to prevent kidney failure after nephrectomy. We examined the performance of various estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) equations, including the new chronic kidney disease epidemiology collaboration (CKD-EPI) equation in LKDCs.
