Compare the weight loss results between long-term procedures up to 5 years, after undergoing MGL and RYGB in Mexican patients with obesity and associated comorbidity. The most common bariatric surgical procedures worldwide are, laparoscopic gastric sleeve (MGL) and laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB), as a treatment for weight loss and remission of comorbidity associated with obesity; however, they are the long-term weight loss results in the Mexican population are unknown.
