Oral surgery involves the diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases affecting the soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity and encompasses a wide range of surgical interventions. The aim of this investigation was to study the characteristics and age-related diagnoses of these oral surgeries, as well as to describe the surgical procedures performed in a pediatric oral and maxillofacial surgery service.
