The purpose of the study: to study the level and dynamics of morbidity of the Omsk region population as a result of mental disorders and behavioral disorders associated with the use of psychoactive substances in 2017–2023. Materials and methods. The analysis of the dynamics of the morbidity index of the urban and rural population of the Omsk region with mental disorders and behavioral disorders as a result of the use of psychoactive substances is carried out. In the statistical processing of the material, traditional methods of calculating intensive indicators, dynamic series analysis, and the average error of indicators are used. Results. In 2017–2023, the Omsk region recorded an increase in the incidence of mental disorders and behavioral disorders associated with the use of psychoactive substances by 10.4%. A comparative analysis of the level and dynamics of morbidity of urban and rural populations allows us to assert significant differences in the health status of residents of the region, adherence to a healthy lifestyle, the prevalence of the influence of bad habits (drug addiction, alcoholism, substance abuse) and, as a result, the formation of diseases of the mental sphere. Conclusions. The study of the level and dynamics of morbidity of the population of the Omsk region allows us to state the problem of the influence of psychoactive substances on mental health, to form directions for studying the problem for subsequent administrative and managerial decisions at the regional level.
