The study aimed to identify the effect of applying health care accreditation standards on its dimensions (patient rights, diagnostic services, medication management and safety, infection control, and leadership) on achieving the quality of health service at Jordanian university hospitals. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was prepared and distributed to the study sample which included directors, their assistants, department heads, and administrative supervisors at Jordanian university hospitals, who numbered (157) members. The study used the descriptive analytical method, and the data was collected and analyzed, and hypotheses were tested using analysis of the Statistical Program for the Social Sciences (SPSS V.26). The study reached several results, most notably is the presence of an impact of patient rights, medication management and safety, as well as infection control, and leadership on achieving service quality at Jordanian university hospitals. One of the most prominent recommendations of the study is to emphasize the importance of applying accreditation standards, to emphasize the importance of continuous improvement and keeping pace with scientific development so that safety is achieved, medical errors are reduced, and the speed of completion becomes a basic goal that is reflected on the quality of health services.
