Cultural Acculturation as an Effort to Reconcile Javanese and Chinese Ethnic Communities (Intercultural Communication Study in Krian, Sidoarjo)

Acculturation is a very important thing to do considering that life growth is increasing and developments are increasingly rapid. Accultation is also a means of introducing cultures from one region to another, resulting in new cultures. Research on Cultural Acculturation as an Effort to Reconcile Javanese and Chinese Ethnic Communities (intercultural communication study in Krian sub-district) aims to describe how intercultural communication and cultural acculturation occur in Javanese and Chinese ethnic communities. The problem formulation of this research is how intercultural communication and cultural acculturation occur in Javanese and Chinese ethnic communities. The use of the Snowball Sampling method where sources or informants are determined based on the research instrument, if the researcher feels that he wants to dig deeper into the information needed, then the source can provide recommendations for additional relevant informants to make it more.
