The materials with high specific surface area, uniform pore size distribution, and high nitrogen content were prepared by using chitosan as raw material and a low co-soluble mixture (lithium nitrate, potassium nitrate, and potassium sulfate) as a pore-forming agent and salt template agent. The CO 2 adsorption capacity of the material was tested at 25°C (2.15 mmol/g) and 0°C (2.88 mmol/g). It was found that more pores and higher nitrogen content were conducive to the adsorption of CO 2 by the material.
