Thank you, Speaker Grice. Good afternoon, delegates and colleagues. It is my pleasure to present my third state of the association address to this House of Delegates. Because my second year serving the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) has ended, I look back at a very successful year and I am looking forward to an equally successful year to come. This afternoon, I will provide you with a summary of some key accomplishments since we were together in Denver and will introduce a few new initiatives that are being planned for the coming months. As always, I need to recognize the incredible efforts of our members: our officers, board, standing committees, councils, sections and special interest groups. Although we have a remarkable staff at AACP, the sheer volume of work our association completes every year belies the relatively small complement of personnel we employ. The engagement of our membership is clearly our greatest asset and strength, and we should all be proud of what we accomplish together.
