Background: The structure of circular ribonucleic acids (circRNAs) is a distinct closed loop. As tumor inhibitors or oncogenes, circRNAs play the important roles in the development of tumors. Previous studies indicate that circRNAs can influence the occurrence and development of various diseases. Many studies have found that circRNAs may play a crucial role in the carcinogenic effects of different types of cancer. Methods: Here, we applied a bioinformatics analysis to explore the potential regulation of circRNAs in prostate cancer (PCa). The differentially expressed (DE) RNAs (DE-circRNAs and DE-mRNAs) were identified based on GEO and TCGA data analyses. And the tumor immune microenvironment of PCa was also analysed. Results: 201 DE-mRNAs and 607 DE-circRNAs were identified, and the regulation network was constructed. Some genes regulated by multiple circRNAs, such as DPYS and KIF4A are associated with survival and prognosis. Conclusion: This study may elucidate the potential mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of PCa and may help serve new biomarkers or targets for PCa.
