The Qiushuwan Cu-Mo deposit is located in the East Qinling molybdenum belt and is an important mining location known for its medium-sized molybdenum resources. In order to enhance our comprehension and discover supplementary mineral deposits, it is essential to carry out a comprehensive investigation of the deep and peripheral areas. This study specifically examined the Qiushuwan Copper Molybdenum Mine located in Zhenping County, Henan Province. Our research used the spread spectrum-induced polarization (SSIP) approach for the purpose of mining exploration. We collected SSIP data, did geological analysis, and performed electrical parameter analysis of rock and ore samples by performing a survey along Line 80. Upon analyzing the SSIP data with the suitable frequency, we discovered the existence of two main conducting ore bodies: C2, connected to granite porphyry and molybdenum veins, and C4, related to a skarn deposit that contains a copper ore body. The resistivity models obtained from the SSIP data enabled us to precisely delineate the spatial pattern of conductivity fluctuations within the investigated region. The integration of borehole data and overlapping of geological section with inversion models validated the accuracy and proved their dependability. These results provide a strong foundation for future exploration efforts and the sustainable development of resources, enabling well-informed decision-making in the efficient utilization and management of natural resources.
