Strike-slip faults are one of the most important types of faults, and strike-slip faults or transcurrent faults often play an important role in the process of oil and gas accumulation. The gravity and magnetic methods have the advantages of areal exploration and large exploration depth, and are important exploration methods for studying strike-slip faults or transcurrent faults. Due to the complexity of actual geological problems and the superposition of potential fields, it is difficult to interpret strike-slip faults or transcurrent faults in some areas. In view of this difficulty, this paper proposes a comprehensive method of fine processing of gravity magnetic anomalies, stripping processing, multi-information superposition and directional filtering to study strike-slip faults, which makes up for the shortage of single information of gravity gradient anomalies. The case study shows that the advantages of gravity and magnetic anomaly weak information extraction and multi-information superposition are conducive to the fine interpretation and determination of strike-slip faults, which can provide a unique data basis for geological research, and have important value for oil and gas target evaluation research.
