The piedmont zone in the southwest of Tarim is an important resource replacement area in Tarim Oilfield, but due to the double complexity of the surface and underground in this area, there are some problems in seismic data, such as low signal-to-noise ratio, unclear and inaccurate imaging. This paper systematically studies the depth domain velocity modeling in the double complex area of southwest Tarim, including initial velocity editing, velocity percentage scanning, application of volume scale factor, shallow tomography strategy, velocity deep elimination of large values, different tomography algorithms contrast to achieve mid-deep tomography, velocity volume editing along the layer, selection of modeling surface, anisotropy modeling in complex area. The different near-surface modeling accuracy, skua modeling and non-seismic data modeling application are explored, and finally the future development direction of velocity modeling in double complex regional depth domain is prospected.
