The spirit of the Red Flag Canal refers to the spirit of self-reliance, hard work and entrepreneurship, unity and cooperation, and selfless dedication formed during the construction of the Red Flag Canal in the 1960s. The spirit of the Red Flag Canal is not only the pride of the people of Linxian County, but also an important part of the great spiritual pedigree of the CPC and a valuable spiritual wealth, which has become the source of motivation for generations of young people to continue their struggle.
