The purpose of the study was to determine dietary patterns in adolescents. The qualitative research design was grounded theory. Primary data was obtained from informants. The subjects of the study were 5 female adolescents who experienced menstrual disorders. The method of data collection was through interviews. The results of the study showed that adolescents eat 3 times a day, like fast food and in choosing food according to taste, price, taste and attractive appearance. It can be concluded that diet can affect the menstrual cycle. In this study, it is expected that health workers provide education or health promotion about nutritious food to adolescents in schools and the surrounding environment.
