A three-row tractor-powered weeder was design and fabricated with the objective of alleviating the problem of weed keeping in view the crop, soil and machine parameters.The weeder reduces cost of labour and drudgery.The weeder which is powered by the tractor was designed with rotor blades which cuts the weed.Mass of the frame was determined as 26.2 kg, weight of the support frame was determined as 20.6 N, speed of the blade was determined as 252 rpm.The power requirement of the machine is 2.14 kW and torque is 291 Nmm.
