Complex separated flow that occurs under conditions of high angle of attack or high maneuverability flight of advanced aircrafts, induces aerodynamic phenomena like sudden changes, dynamic hysteresis, and periodic oscillations, which produce unfavorable effects on control system and flight safety. With the rapid evolution of flight vehicles, numerous studies on dynamic characteristics by wind tunnel test and numerical simulation conducted by research institutes and universities have laid solid foundation for the prediction of aircraft dynamic characteristics. The present paper summarized recent improvements of key technologies such as test model motion simulation, unsteady aerodynamic measurement and flow/motion integrated numerical simulation. A dynamic derivative test system based on the electronic cam was successfully established with test frequency up to 10Hz, a high bandwidth aerodynamic test technology based on accelerometer array was first proposed with the test bandwidth larger than 1000Hz, and the integrated aerodynamic/kinematic simulation technology based on Adams Prediction-Correction Scheme was developed, with unsteady flow patterns of typical configuration been simulated accurately.
