Analysis of The Barriers to Learning to Read the Al Quran at MA Hasanuddin Gaprang Kanigoro Blitar Regency

The purpose of this study is to analyze and identify the factors that hinder students in learning to read the Quran. It is crucial to conduct research on the obstacles in Quran reading instruction so that teachers can improve their teaching methods. This research employs a qualitative method with an intensive and detailed approach through observation and interview techniques. The results of the study indicate several obstacles in Quran reading instruction, including: 1) a decline in students' interest in learning to read the Quran, 2) inadequate school facilities, and 3) outdated teaching methods, which result in students feeling bored during lessons. This study is expected to serve as a foundational reference for future research.
