Nickel ferrite (NiFe2O4) nanoparticles are ferrimagnetic materials with a wide range of applications, including the manufacture of supercapacitors and cancer treatment. Since the synthesis method significantly affects the properties of nanoparticles, it is of utmost importance to investigate the influence of different synthesis methods on the properties of these materials. The purpose of this study was to synthesize nickel ferrite nanoparticles by two distinct methods, direct combustion and sol-gel/combustion, and characterize them using the X-ray diffraction and ferromagnetic resonance techniques.
