In this abstract we present our initial results from the validation of a respiratory correlated 4D MRI golden angle stack of stars radial sequence prior to its clinical implementation and highlight potential experimental pitfalls to avoid that may impact motion range estimations. Correct phantom set up reduced motion underestimations by 3%-18% for the simulated respiratory waveforms considered. Larger motion discrepancies observed for the low amplitude motion which improved by increasing the number of bins.
