During adolescent development, individuals try to recognize themselves. At this time individuals enter a period of storm and stress. Improper emotion regulation skills will make adolescents tend to follow This study aims to determine whether emotional regulation psychoeducation can improve emotional regulation in adolescents. The population in this study were 10th grade students with a total of 43 people. The research method used a quantitative experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection was carried out using the Emotion Regulation Scale with good reliability (r=0.865). Hypothesis testing using paired sample T- test technique. The results of this study showed a significance value in the hypothesis test of 0.011>0.05, so that psychoeducation of emotional regulation itself was less effective in improving the regulation of adolescents. So it can be concluded that different interventions are needed to provide understanding or exposure to improve emotional regulation in students X SMKS 1 Sidoarjo.
