<ns3:p>We present a genome assembly from an individual female <ns3:italic>Leptogaster cylindrica</ns3:italic> (robberfly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Asilidae). The genome sequence spans 196.60 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 5 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 18.0 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 10,816 protein-coding genes.</ns3:p>
