<ns5:p>We present a genome assembly from an individual female <ns5:italic>Apamea epomidion</ns5:italic> (the Clouded Brindle moth; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Noctuidae). The genome sequence spans 624.60 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z and W sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 16.36 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 17,961 protein-coding genes.</ns5:p>
