The severe capacity loss of tin-based anodes restricts their use in lithium batteries (LIBs). To enhance tin anode cycle stability, tin-antimony double-discharge anodes were designed. Additionally, by ball milling, tin-antimony oxide, and flake graphite cycling-stable composites were created. The stacked flake graphite buffers tin volume rise and enhances electrical conductivity, cyclic specific capacity, and rate performance. After 400 cycles, the tin-antimony oxide-graphite anode shows good cycling specific capacity (480[Formula: see text]mAh[Formula: see text]g[Formula: see text]). Ball milling double-discharge anode material and graphite will inspire novel carbon composite anode materials.
