This article is an early prophetic dialogue between Christianity and Islam that compares the training of Christian clergy and the training of Muslim ministers in the UK. The terms of the dialogue are set out and an overview of Islamic Religious Training in the UK is offered, focussing on the previously non -accredited Darul Ulooms in contrast to the accredited Islamic 'colleges'. The subsequent overview of Anglican Christian Theological Training in the UK offers comparison within the Islamic context. The final reflection uses four types of Christian education that can be applied to Muslim theological education.
