Modified gold electrode with Metal-organic framework (MOFs), ternary quantum dots (TQDs) and their composite (TQDs@MOFs) were as electrochemical sensor to determine bisphenol A (BPA). A comparative electrochemical study of the MOFs, QDs and QDs@MOFs reveals that the composite (QDs@MOFs) have the highest conductivity, largest effective surface area, lowest peak potential separation (∆Ep) and the highest oxidation peak current. Under optimal conditions and wide range of BPA concentrations, the ternary quantum dots metal organic frameworks were a better sensor for bisphenol A with 0.488 nM limit of detection and 1.473 nM. limit of quantitation in comparison to metal organic framework and quantum dots. The results show that QDs@MOFs responded remarkable to BPA and could be adapted a practical and efficient efficient sensor for the determination of BPA
