An Empirical Eye-Tracking Study of Feature Model

Our empirical study focuses on understanding feature models in the context of validating configurations. We explored the relationship between the number of features and cross-tree constraints and participants’ accuracy in answering validity-checking questions. By analyzing eye fixations, we assessed the difficulty of interpreting fixated information and the percentage of fixation time per question, reflecting cognitive processing.
