Waste, Recycling and Sustainabilty in the Urban Space: planning and experience of a workshop in the center of João Pessoa/PB

This paper aims to reveal the importance of sustainability in urban space through the reuse of recyclable materials to create urban furniture. It describes the planning, development and results, provided by the practice experienced in the workshop: “Waste, Recycling and Sustainability in Urban Space”, carried out during the VI International Symposium Urbicentros in João Pessoa/PB. In the workshop, participants understood that they can be agents of change in their own communities. This experience is a positive and inspiring example for everyone involved in promoting a more conscious and responsible future.
