Environmental Feasibility for Indigenous Community Occupation of an Area

This article focuses on assessing the environmental feasibility of occupying the area known by the traditional indigenous community La-klãno as Serra Verde, located in Santa Catarina, Brazil. The study aims to analyze the occupation of the area, considering national and state mappings, environmental legislation, and specific legislation for indigenous territories. Additionally, it aims to identify, classify, and evaluate environmental impacts using the "Environmental Analysis Support Matrix." This study contributes to environmental management in areas located within indigenous territories by providing an integrated and practical approach for responsible environmental stewardship.
