This study constitutes a segment of a master's research completed in 2023. It presents a theoreticalcritical reflection, through a literature review, regarding the predominantly patriarchal perspective present in the planning and social dynamics of cities. From this observation, its aim is to support the hypothesis that strategic design could act as a facilitator of a city developed by and for women, provided a paradigm shift in these areas through feminism is adopted. Thus, pathways are proposed to promote a more inclusive and gender-sensitive approach in urban design and planning.
