Environmental concerns drive the search for sustainable alternatives in construction, including the use of natural fibers such as hemp. This study examines its potential, based on a literature review and case study. From production to transformation into raw materials, aspects of the use of natural fibers in civil construction are analyzed. It is concluded that hemp is a viable option, but the need to improve construction techniques for its effectiveness and market acceptance is highlighted, aiming to make it more economical and widely adopted.
