The techniques which are used for the radiation-based therapy of breast cancer are 3D conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT) and intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) along with technical terms for early career physicists. Also, the article provides information about the comparative analysis applied to these techniques. Overall, the treatment of breast cancer from the perspective of radiotherapy is discussed.
