Pushing the Boundaries – Optimizing for Riserless Intervention Deepwater GOM

Abstract Light well intervention (LWI) techniques have become increasingly vital in maintaining and optimizing production efficiency in deepwater oil and gas wells. This paper provides a review of recent advancements in LWI technologies, with a particular emphasis on their application in deepwater and sub ambient environments. The growth of riserless intervention in GOM and push of application beyond current boundaries of operational experience provides- Further growth of well stock feasible to benefit for Riserless Intervention (RLWI). Furthermore, the widening application of LWI techniques beyond current operational boundaries indicate a maturation and adaptability of the technology to meet evolving industry demand.
