In this paper, we provide for the first time ever, two unique solu- tions for: (1) radioactive decay and (2) a growth equation—using quantum calculus/q-Calculus. In particular (case 1), we applied the so-called Jackson derivative, in tandem with the power series method to yield a solution in q-symmetric form. Likewise (case 2), we find a solution to Bateman equation for stable daughter nuclide by means of the q-integral—we call this Symmetrized Quantum Bate- man Form (SqBF). In the limiting case, i.e., when the q-parameter approaches unity the classical results are recovered. Finally, we provide evidence of property preservation for a geochronological timepiece.
