Cross-linkable hole-transporting materials with a new cross-linking group, benzocyclobutene, are designed and synthesized. These materials dissolve well in common organic solvents and exhibit excellent solvent resistance after thermal cross-linking. Electroluminescent (EL) devices were fabricated using these two hole-transporting materials.
