This research aims to evaluate the Make a Match method in learning fiqh, especially the pillars of Islam, to improve the learning achievement of class 1A students at MI Sidoarjo. This method helps students to understand the material by combining interrelated concepts. Observation results show that many students have not reached the KKM (75). This research uses a PTK approach with two cycles, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of cycle 1 showed that the average student score was 80.6%, there were still 9 students who had not completed it. In cycle II the average student score increased to 88.2% and all students reached or exceeded the KKM. A quantitative approach through pre-test and post-test as well as observation was used in this research. The research results are more effective in improving student learning outcomes and are applied at the basic education level to increase learning effectiveness
