The vortex tube has become a key component of intelligent equipment due to its unique energy separation effect. However, there are complex fluid motion and heat and cold exchange processes inside, which brings difficulties to the design. To improve the refrigeration efficiency, the structure of the pneumatic swirl generator was designed. Through numerical simulation and experiment, the law of energy separation with the change of structural parameters of the pneumatic swirl generator was studied. An experimental platform for vortex tubes was constructed to examine the impact of varying ratios of cold-end tube apertures on temperature. The results show that changing the structure of the pneumatic swirl generator can effectively improve the energy separation efficiency and realize the cooling of the intelligent equipment.
