The widespread use of cross-sectional imaging techniques has led to a signicant increase in the detection of small, often asymptomatic renal masses. Over 50% of renal cell carcinomas (RCCs) are discovered incidentally through noninvasive imaging methods. Effective management of these renal masses requires a thorough understanding of imaging modalities to ensure accurate diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning. This review examines the role of computed tomography (CT), in the evaluation of renal masses.
