To comprehensively examine how the capacity of new energy sources affects the regulatory capabilities of thermal storage electric heat loads within distribution networks, this study introduces a dynamic and optimal scheduling approach tailored for electric heat loads that takes into account the capacity of new energy. Firstly, the regulation model of thermal load is constructed; secondly, the regulation potential of thermal load in the distribution network is analyzed. Ultimately, this research puts forward a regulatory approach for thermal loads considering the capacity of new energy sources. The model is resolved by using an iterative approximation method based on the fast non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (SA-NSGA-II). The case study outcomes demonstrate that the suggested technique effectively incorporates the regulatory potential of thermal loads, thereby enhancing the integration of new energy within power grids. Example findings indicate that the suggested approach is capable of fully considering the regulation potential of electric and thermal loads and improving the utilization of new energy in power grids.
