Indian Governments' initiative of encouraging "Flex fuel vehicles" using blend ethanol-petrol fuel using E20 from 2023 onwards has increased the investors as well as researchers' interest in projects related to biofuels. The present research based on secondary data has been undertaken to improve the production of bioethanol from lignocellulose of bagasse of sugarcane. The hybridization of biological treatment with Ceriporiopsis subvermispora before AFEX-based chemical treatment in combination with PEG and Tween 80 and fermentation through recombinant Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains -TMB3130 and TMB3061has been suggested for industrial evaluation. The oxidative enzymes responsible for the fungus's delignification potential have been reported to increase the production of precursors of lignin and hemicellulose by an average 87% for fermentation.Enzyme catalyzed fermentation involving TMB3130 and TMB3061 strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, can give yield 232.8 litres/Ton to 284.8 Litres /Ton of bagasse .
