Information and Communication Technologies in the Education System

Nowadays, it is impossible to imagine our world without computers.Because almost in any part of our daily life, we solve our work through the computer.However, the computer alone is not enough to perform some problems (for example: mathematical problems) on a computer.This is when programming languages come to our aid.The rapid development of new generation technologies is naturally reflected in the education system.So students no longer have to be content with just basic computer skills.By learning any programming language, they should acquire new and more complex knowledge.Taking this into account, the education system in Azerbaijan is built according to modern requirements.The paper examines information and communication technologies, technical, programme, subject and methods components of the enviroment where they are used.The paper also considers the concepts of information awareness and information competence, as well as using Informatics Technologies in teaching.
