The problems of implementing IP telephony in the modern realities of the Russian Federation: quality of service, security, difficulties that arise for subscribers, and the professionalism of service personnel, are analyzed in this article. It was concluded that in order to implement this service, it is necessary to develop new methods to solve the above problems.
