Retraction: A 3D Luminescent Metal‐organic Framework Constructed from Cu₄I₄ Cubane Clusters and Triangular Imidazole Ligand

The above article, published online on 09 May 2014 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com) has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editors‐in‐Chief, Thomas F. Fässler, Christian Limberg, David Scheschkewitz; and Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim. The retraction has been agreed upon following an investigation into concerns raised by a third party which identified unexpected repetitions in two diffractograms presented in figure 3. The authors admitted that they made a mistake and provided partial raw data. However, while new data provided for both experimentally obtained diffractograms for figure 3 show perfect consistency, both diffractograms do not show the identity with the expected diffractogram obtained by the simulation. The editors do not consider the experimental data sufficient to substantiate the presence of the stated compound. As a result, the article‘s conclusions can no longer be considered valid. The authors disagree with the retraction.
