RETRACTION: Plasmonic Group 4 Transition Metal Carbide Interfaces for Solar‐Driven Desalination

The above article, published online on 5 March 2024, in Wiley Online Library ( http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/ ), has been retracted by agreement between the authors; the journal Editor‐in‐Chief, Ben Zhong Tang; and John Wiley & Sons Australia, Ltd. The corresponding author notified the journal that when performing post‐publication work intended to extend this study, discrepancies were identified between newly collected microscopy data and several images reported in this article. The authors undertook a thorough internal review of the underlying data. As a result of this review, they determined that multiple microscopy images in Figure 4 were not original to the study, and that the lead author had taken these images from an earlier article by a different author (Bercea 2022: https://doi.org/10.3390/polym14122365 ). The corresponding author has requested a retraction on behalf of the authors. Due to the falsified data, the editor agrees that the article must be retracted.
