Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware facilitates interoperability and portability of components by building the underlying communication network in heterogeneous systems or homogeneous systems with real-time requirements. Application lifecycle management is a crucial technology that enables components with various functionalities to execute across different hardware resources, while freeing application developers from the need to be concerned with the underlying deployment of application components. A system architecture is proposed to facilitate the integration of DDS (Data Distribution Service) into real-time embedded systems for effective application lifecycle management. The architecture allows communications among components through the DDS middleware, whether they are executed in a heterogeneous system or homogeneous system. Then a spaceborne scenario is simulated to exemplify the design feasibility. Evaluation tests show the communication stability can be obtained.
