In this work, a green and sustainable approach used for synthesis of novel biochar@Al2O3 nanocomposite through pyrolysis of Melia azedarach (chinaberry) biomass coupled with Al2O3 nanoparticles from Phyllanthus emblica seed extract. The synthesized nanocomposite was analysed by UV-Vis spectroscope, FTIR, SEM, EDX and XRD were used to authenticate the distinct properties of the biochar@Al2O3 nanocomposite. These techniques are further used to examine the nanocomposite after photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue. Additionally, the scavenger impacts on dye degradation, stability and the potential reusability of the biochar@Al2O3 nanocomposite were examined in detail. The investigation evaluating the photocatalytic capability of biochar@Al2O3 nanocomposite for methylene blue degradation in wastewater revealed an impressive degradation efficiency of 97.36 %. Furthermore, after five cycles of reuse the nanocomposite retained a substantial degradation efficiency of 84.59 %. This research highlights the importance of presenting an efficient and eco-friendly method for water purification, emphasizing the role of biochar@Al2O3 nanocomposites in addressing environmental pollution through innovative nanomaterial applications. Significantly progresses was made in the development of sustainable materials for wastewater treatment, in particular the promising potential of the biochar@Al2O3 nanocomposite in methylene blue dye degradation.
