Introduction: Renal tumour is the 8th most common malignancy affecting adults. Detailed preoperative imaging is important for accurate prognostication and for planning the surgical approach. Nephron sparing and radical surgeries are used in the management of renal tumours [1]. The surgical decision depends on imaging features. To classify renal tumours as low, moderate, and high nephrometry score lesions. To assess Aim: the preoperative surgical planning based on the score. The cross-sectional study was conducted in the Department of Materials and Methods: Radiology, GMC, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, from June 2021 to May 2022. A total of 35 adult patients with focal parenchymal renal neoplastic lesions, scheduled for surgery were considered. All the patients were subjected to pre operative MDCT, and the renal tumours were assessed by RENAL scoring system & assigned a nephrometry score. Of the total 35 Results: patients, enrolled for the study 14 (40.00%) patients had medium complexity lesions followed by high complexity (34.28%) and low complexity (25.7%). Among these 17 patients had radical Nephrectomy (48.57%) followed by Partial Nephrectomy (51.42%). 100% (9) of all the patients who had low nephrometry score, 66.7% (10) of patients with moderate nephrometry score, underwent partial nephrometry (19), while 33.3 % (5) of moderate nephrometry score and all patients (100 %) of high nephrometry score underwent radical surgery. CT NEPHROMETRY scoring system is an objective method used to decide the s Conclusion: urgical approach of resection of organ conned tumours.
