Active development of market relations has given persons with a family status an opportunity to do business, which has required solution of multiple law theory issues, in particular, determination of the concept and content of the family business, family entrepreneurship categories, their correlation and practical provisions of civil and family law aimed at the determination of legal borders of application to the respective relations. The article concludes that it is reasonable to take into account the impact of the legal status of persons employed in the family entrepreneurship sphere for the purpose of determination of the most efficient mechanisms of protection of their rights, brings forward proposals for the improvement of legal provisions aimed at regulation of business relations such persons are a part of.
