Access to quality healthcare services in rural communities is a critical challenge globally, with disparities in healthcare delivery being particularly pronounced in these underserved areas. Telehealth services and information technology have emerged as promising solutions to bridge the gap in healthcare access for rural residents. This study aims to assess the impact of these technologies on enhancing healthcare access and improving patient care outcomes in rural settings. By conducting a comparative analysis, the study evaluates the effectiveness of telehealth services and information technology in addressing the unique healthcare needs of rural communities. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature and data analysis, the study explores the role of telehealth services and information technology in expanding healthcare access, improving patient outcomes, and overcoming geographical barriers to care. The findings of this research contribute valuable insights into the potential of telehealth services and information technology to transform healthcare delivery in rural communities.
